Shlomo Gronich is a highly prolific, gifted, multi-faceted artist. He composes classical music, performed by leading ensembles and orchestras in Israel and abroad, as well as pop, jazz, world music, and music for cinema, theater and dance. Among the many prizes and awards he has received is the “ACUM” (Israel Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers) Prize for his contribution to musical life in Israel. He recorded his first LP in 1971 and has since released another 18 records and CDs.

Gronich is an exciting performer – as pianist and vocalist – as soloist, and in collaboration with numerous artists, and is one of Israel’s most well-known and original musicians. Throughout his extensive musical career he has acquired a reputation as a unique, incomparable artist who creates cross-cultural bridges through his master musicianship. He offers a vast repertoire and an array of performances suitable for different audiences.

His 60^th birthday coincides with that of the State of Israel. A myriad scope of musical genres, styles and ensembles are available when programming

Jeanne (Sidrer) Rabin was born in Brooklyn, New York and immigrated to Israel with her family at the age of 16. Her musical career began at age four when she began playing piano by ear and her parents realized that proper lessons were in order… Her love of vocal ensembles began in high school where she sang in the ”John F. Kennedy High School Choir” of Plainview, N.Y., famous throughout the United States.

Tevet Sela – saxophonist

Tevet Sela is saxophonist, flutist and composer based in Montreal. Over the last years, Tevet has been leading his quartet, which exclusively performs his music. In his repertoire, Tevet weaves together elements of soulful Jazz-funk with African and Middle Eastern music. Born and raised in Israel, Tevet’s style of music is influenced by the rich blend of cultures found in Israeli society, ranging from Jewish to North African music, and from Middle Eastern to Western music. This singular mix of influences characterizes Tevet’s instantly recognizable and individual style.

Tevet, who is also a bassist, has an extraordinary sense of rhythm manifested by his ability to transform the saxophone into a rhythm instrument and to combine his tight rhythmic lines as an integral part of the rhythm section. This rhythmic approach, along with Tevet’s song oriented compositions, makes for a complete and satisfying experience.

Tevet started playing classical piano at the age of 7. When he was 12 he began playing the saxophone and his interest in Jazz started to grow. At the age of 16 he started to compose his own music and began his professional musical career. Tevet soon became a much sought after session player, playing at the house bands of the most popular Israeli television shows as well as contributing solos for soundtracks and artists releases, both in Israel and abroad.

Tevet, who is also a graduate of the prestigious Thelma Yelin School of Arts, has toured in France and the Netherlands as it’s big band featured soloist. In addition, Tevet holds a Diploma in music education, and has over the years won several scholarships of the America-Israel cultural fund.

In the year 2000 Tevet established his own band and started to record and perform his original compositions. In the spring of 2003 Tevet’s debut album ‘Tevet Sela’ was released and followed by a European tour. Tevet’s live concerts generate interest and enthusiasm and his music is frequently played by radio stations around the world including the BBC Radio, and leading Jazz stations in the USA. The debut album was nominated for the ‘jazz album of the year’ and the ‘jazz composition of the year’ awards at the JPF Music Awards 2006.

Tevet released his second album entitled ‘Coming True’ in 2007. The album was recorded in a quartet setting and continues the adventurous spirit of Tevet’s debut album but with a more jazz-funk flavor to it. It displays Tevet’s evolving writing, arranging and producing abilities. Again this album had gained a lot of exposure and Tevet’s quartet toured and performed in supporting of this album.

In 2010 Tevet has brought to life yet another refreshing musical project in his third release ‘Jazz flute’. Although Tevet has done a lot of studio work as a flutist for other artists, this is the first time he releases a complete album dedicated to this instrument. While sharing his talent as an accomplished flutist and accompanied by a strong rhythm section behind him, Tevet, again, creates an album that consists of his own material exclusively.

Omri Nobel – music composer

Omri Nobel 28 years old singer/songwriter,producer and composer,born and raised in kfar sava, israel. His music is a combination of blues,country and folk rock, mix of dark emotion and unsatisfied passion. In the past year Omri has been recording his debut album with the producer Asi Abergel and Touring with his band all over Israel. The band members are : Yogev Cohen on guitar, Roni Yahav on harmonica and Amir Genosar on percussion. Among his projects as producer and composer you can find Danny Newman’s project, Israel Topper’s project as lead composer, the composer of three “Sand fantasy” movies by the sand artist Ilana Yahav, and many more independent student movies.
